Compressing the work week is a great way to skip the congestion and to save money. There’s plenty of other ways to make sure you get in your 40 hours!

Do the Math

  • Four Day Work WeekThe 4/10 Schedule
Employees work four ten-hour days each week, not working the traditional five days a week. This means one less day of driving!
  • The 9/80 Schedule
The week is divided into eight nine-hour days (72 hours) plus one eight-hour day. The total adds up to 80 hours over two weeks. This option gives employees one extra day off every two weeks.
  • The 3/36 Schedule
In this scenario, you work three 12-hour days each week. Employees could cover additional partial shifts to get to their full 40 hours each week.
