Celebrate Mobility Week from October 27 through November 4

Mobility Week

Florida is celebrating its eighth annual Mobility Week from Oct. 27 through Nov. 4, 2023.

Mobility Week is a statewide effort by the Florida Department of Transportation and its partner agencies to promote awareness of safe transportation choices – whether it’s taking the train or bus, walking, biking, carpooling or vanpooling.

The reThink Your Commute team will be at Mobility Week events throughout Central Florida. We’d love to see you there! Come and join us at the following events:

Bike with Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer on Friday, October 27 at 7 a.m.
Lake Druid Park, 899 Coy Drive, Orlando.
This family-friendly roundtrip bike ride will take you on a 4-mile trip through the historic Colonialtown North neighborhood and Audubon Park Garden District, using the brand new Corrine Drive quick-build pilot path. Remember to bring your own bicycle, and we strongly recommend wearing helmets for your safety. Space is limited so be sure to RSVP.

Boo on Broadway on Friday, October 27, 6 to 9:30 p.m.

This annual family-friendly block party in historic downtown Kissimmee will include live music, Halloween-themed games and entertainment. Ride SunRail to the Kissimmee Station to join the fun.
