In partnership with Kissimmee Main Street, the City of Kissimmee, Osceola County Government, and Florida Hospital, the second annual Kissimmee Bike Bonanza was held on Thursday, March 22, 2018. The event provided commuters the opportunity to bike to work with their co-workers, enjoying a scenic two-mile loop that began and ended at Lakefront Park.
More than 60 riders participated, despite very low morning temperatures. For the second year in a row, the City of Kissimmee earned top honors for the most participation.
Part of this year’s promotion included the introduction of “Bicycle Benefits” to Downtown Kissimmee. Riders received a helmet sticker that they can show to participating merchants to receive special discounts. For a list of participating businesses, visit www.bicyclebenefits.com.
