Maitland, FL – Commuters can win a free frozen dessert from Jeremiah’s Italian Ice by riding the Maitland NeighborLink 652 to work. The NeighborLink 652 is a flexible transit service from the Maitland SunRail station to Maitland Center and other office parks on the west side of I-4. This transit service offers a “first and last mile” option for SunRail riders who work in the NeighborLink 652 service area.

Here’s how to participate:

• Commuters are invited to ride SunRail in the morning from their home station to the Maitland station from August 29 through October 28, 2016.
• Upon arrival at the Maitland SunRail station, board the NeighborLink 652 bus to connect to your office.
• As you board NeighborLink, place your business card in the collection box on board.
• Winners will be selected weekly at random. Each winner will receive one gift certificate for a small gelati from any of the 14 Jeremiah’s Italian Ice locations.

NeighborLink 652 departs the Maitland SunRail station at 6:35 a.m., 7:35 a.m., and 8:35 a.m. SunRail riders ride the Maitland NeighborLink 652 for free in the morning by showing the operator their SunRail ticket.

There is a $2 fee for the return trip, which includes a free transfer to train stops within Orange County. Riders must schedule their return trip two hours in advance by calling LYNX directly at 407-244-0808. The NeighborLink 652 is scheduled to arrive back at the Maitland SunRail station at 5:15 p.m., 6:15 p.m., and 7:00 p.m. The NeighborLink 652 service operates Monday through Friday.
